Quiet fishing, is this the start of some Moon Phase research?

At the moment here in lovely New Caledonia the fishing has been very quiet.  About a month ago while fishing for emperors and also exploring for the first time with my tinny in the mangroves, i noticed that the particular day was a real bugger of a fishing day with no fish all day.

This particular experience pushed me to find out more about fish behaviour and perhaps going back to looking at the moon phases.  At this stage i was going fishing when i could and if the weather seemed to be good.  I just couldn't afford to set my fishing days based on the moon phases.

One month later,  and i am still without some great fishing sessions.....
